Yes the picture is dark as is my mood. Today's mid-week ride at White Rock ended in rain and extreme wind, won't be able to do any more until March because I don't like riding the lake in the dark, regular rides during the week will be the same. Not sure if I'll do any more event rides this year.
Gonna be a long winter...

Well, join the club.. over here it's dark until 8 am, and daylight is about gone at 5 pm when we're out of work. Leaving only weekends to do some biking.
No snow yet though.. last two winters that has started end nov.
No need to be sad though. Riding in complete darkness can actually be real nice if you carry enough bright light.
Hey it could be worse, you could be in indiana, where its eastern time, and it gets dark at 6:00. The only good news is our Monon trail is now available until 9pm which allows a safe ride with no traffic. I will be taking the trail on my baron after dark without the risk of a ticket.
Its about 40 deg at night so kinda brisk.

@Byron: you ride after dark without lights (and risk a ticket for that ?).. or is it just illegal in the US to ride a bike after dark, even with lights on ?
